Havaianas Moving Window
Drawn by the enchanting nativity scene Xmas windows of David Jones, I was inspired to craft a window that exuded the vibrant spirit of a Brazilian/Australian Summer. Determined to create a dynamic and captivating display, I embarked on an innovative journey.
To bring the Havaianas Summer campaign to life, I produced core-flute die-cut elements that perfectly embodied the essence of the season. Embracing ingenuity, I ventured to Jaycar, where the supportive staff assisted me in creating custom motors for each core-flute element.
The magic unfolded as the window came alive with movement - a spinning sun, crashing waves, and a playfully waving thong. This mesmerizing installation effortlessly conveyed the joy and energy of a sizzling Summer, transporting onlookers to sun-kissed beaches and carefree moments.
The window adorned six major Surf Dive ‘n Ski stores, delighting shoppers with the dynamic display that celebrated the union of Brazilian and Australian summer vibes. Additionally, static versions of the installation adorned 20 other stores, extending the festive spirit far and wide.
